Tryouts for Fall U9 Team

We are looking for boys who LOVE soccer and would like to play COMPETITIVELY!  Lowen Soccer Club is holding tryouts for the Fall Boys U9 team (born August 2003 or later).

Tryouts will be on
Tuesday, 5/22, & Thursday, 5/24, from 5:30-7pm at Crestmoor Fields, 275 Courtland Dr, San Bruno.

Fall Team registration is open

CCSL has opened the team registration for fall.  To register your team you must have a valid team login. If you want to register a team and do not have a login , please send an e-mail to cringgenberg@gmail.com and we will get you the correct information. To complete the process you will need the CalNorth team ID. It is on your goldenrod and starts with 01-01-03-xxxxxxx. No fees need to be paid to register the  team at this time, the fees will be collected when the team is verified.  Please give as much information as possible in the seeding notes. This will help to establish balanced brackets. U11 and younger teams don't have ODP players.

Juventus Coppa d’Oro 2011

We had three teams play in the Coppa d'Oro last weekend with some very nice results.

The BU9 Golden Bears made the consolation game and lost to the Madrea Roja Bears.

The BU11 Falcons reached the final but lost to Viking United 0:1

The GU12 Nightmare played thru the preliminary games without giving up a goal. Then they defeated the Far Oaks Explosion in the final 2 : 1. Congratulations on a tournament well played.

From the Presidents Cup

Congratulations are in place for the Lowen Aftershocks. They won all three first round games and have advanced to the semi finals.  The game will be played next Saturday at Cherry Island Park in Sacramento at 9:30 am.

Fall season results

The fall season is almost completed, just a few makeup game are left to play. The Lowen Club has had very good success this fall with 6 teams placing 1st or 2nd in their division.

The boys from America United won the U14 Copper North division.

On the girls side we also had a great success story. After moving up thru the ranks for the last three years, the Aftershocks have won the top division in their age group.

I would like to congratulate the two teams on their title.
