COACH: Jesus "Chuy" DeLeon

Jesus “Chuy” DeLeon is the Head Coach of the Lowen'83 Aftershocks, a U-12 Girls Gold Division team, and an active Board Member of Lowen'83 Soccer Club.

Chuy has more than 30 years of hands-on coaching experience spanning a number of age groups across multiple clubs and leagues. He's coached for the San Francisco Vikings League, San Francisco Men's Premier League, CYSA (California Youth Soccer Association), AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization), and CYO (Catholic Youth Organization). Chuy has an advanced coaching certification from AYSO and is a certified coaching instructor. Most recently, he has concentrated his time and energy growing the Lowen'83 Soccer Club.

COACH: Lou Skyriotis

Lou Skyriotis is Assistant Coach of the Lowen'83 Aftershocks, a U-12 Girls Premier Division team, and an active Member of Lowen'83 Soccer Club.

Lou has hands-on coaching experience spanning a number of sports and age groups. He has coached for the Millbrae Lions Baseball League, Millbrae Girls Softball Association, CYSA (California Youth Soccer Association), and AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization). Lou holds an Intermediate Coaching Certification from AYSO as well as Intermediate Referee Certification. Currently he is the Regional Coach Administrator for AYSO Region 145.

Lowen'83 Aftershocks

Lowen'83 Aftershocks were created in Fall 2008 when Coach Chuy DeLeon gathered a core group of AYSO players to form his new GU9 CYSA team. Then in the Spring of 2009, Coach Lou Skyriotis joined the team. The first few seasons that the Aftershocks played were rocky and they lost many of their games. But over the next year the girls grew as a team, developed their skills, and became fiercely competitive. In Fall 2009 the Aftershocks tied Palo Alto Blue for First Place and in the following Spring 2010 they finished in First Place. In order to play more competitive teams, they moved into a higher division in Fall 2010 and ended the season in second to last place. After that hard fought Fall 2010 season, the girls came together and have had a very successful run, winning a number of competitive tournaments all around Northern California.
